RPM Tennis For Laurynas Grigelis

After an eight match winning streak over 14 day, on the hardcourts of California, Laurynas Grigelis was tripped up on day 15 by Alejandro Falla of Colombia. Laurynas had advanced through the qualies in L.A. in decisive fashion, leading me to think that Falla was going to be caught off guard as he made the transition from high-altitude clay to sea-level hardcourts.

In any case, Laurynas had a great run. Now, it's time to get a jump on adjusting to a different reality. Heat. Laurynas, get the hell out of California! It's time to sweat. The vacation is over. You and Coach Stoppini need to get on a plane and head east. Relish the heat. Baste yourself in it. Use it. Love it.

All this California dreaming was great for your confidence. The launching of the coaching relationship with Stoppini alone, was worth the trip. The Eight Wins In A Row were awesome! Now it is time to get ready for a slightly different equation.

Bon voyage. Ciao. Adios. C-ya bro.
